Job Description :

Client is currently seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team in San Antonio, TX. The Plant Power/Capital Projects Manager will collaborate with Architects, Engineers, and Equipment OEM’s in the design and construction of our innovative assembly plant in San Antonio, TX. This role will support the development of our new $250 million dollar assembly facility.

This position will contribute to the creation of cutting-edge commercial vehicle solutions to meet the demands of our customers and implement efficient manufacturing and Industry 4.0 principles.

- Responsibilities:

• Initiate and execute power delivery projects for the entire plant, including designing and implementing electrical distribution systems for facility and equipment.
• Develop and maintain schedules, lead project status meetings, manage budgets, participate in proposal preparation, and establish strong client relationships.
• Evaluate, select, and procure equipment that is cost-effective and suitable for manufacturing company products.
• Manage the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Keep up-to-date records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades, and safety concerns.
• Analyze equipment performance and reliability.
• Create programs and solutions to increase uptime and resolve equipment problems that impact the manufacturing process.
• Provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering departments. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.

- Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in product manufacturing
• Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience

OR

• Master’s degree
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in product manufacturing
• Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience

OR

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in product manufacturing
