Transportation Project Manager

We are actively seeking a Transportation Project Manager for our operations in Atlanta, GA. This role will play a crucial part in the expansion of our Traffic Engineering practice.

The Transportation Project Manager will be engaged in various projects, such as conducting existing condition and traffic surveys, performing traffic studies, reviewing traffic impact studies, conducting feasibility analysis, creating schematic designs, carrying out traffic engineering computations including capacity and level of service analysis, conducting corridor studies, transportation and micro-simulation modeling, as well as overseeing construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, planning, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain within 3 months).
  • 8 - 20+ years of progressive experience in traffic engineering.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software, manuals, and methodologies relevant to the aforementioned projects.
  • Demonstrated success in effectively managing projects within defined scope, schedule, and budget.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8 - 20+ years of experience in similar projects, with at least 5 years in a project management role.
  • Proven track record in business development.
  • Exceptional team building and management abilities.
  • Experience utilizing SYNCHRO, VISSIM, or similar modeling software.
  • Familiarity with Microstation or other CAD software.
  • DOT precertification in applicable areas.
  • PTOE designation (desirable but not required).
