We are currently seeking a highly skilled Transportation Project Lead to join our team in Los Angeles. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing various stages of large-scale transportation projects, including planning, design, construction, and right-of-way considerations. Your main objective will be to ensure timely project completion, adherence to budget, and maintaining the highest quality standards.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams through all project phases, ensuring flawless execution from start to finish.
  • Create and manage project schedules, budgets, and work plans to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Supervise the preparation of engineering documents, reports, and technical materials.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff, fostering their professional development.
  • Act as a representative of the company in various professional and community engagements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations as necessary.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in California.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation; familiarity with OpenRoads Designer preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exemplary organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Sharp critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to new concepts under pressure.
