Senior Sales Executive (International Freight Forwarding)

Remote, Texas

As a Client Solutions Executive, you will have the opportunity to identify target customers and provide innovative solutions to the most promising buyers of our client's products and services. You will build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to enhance our client's business partnerships. Your responsibilities will include generating new business and cultivating existing relationships to meet company growth objectives. Additionally, you will lead the team in selling processes, both internally and externally, to secure major proposals. You will ensure that your team is well-versed in the company's solutions, products, and services. You will collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to drive high-impact opportunities, gain buy-in, and gather feedback. It is also your responsibility to develop negotiation strategies, present solutions that meet customer needs, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction. You will report directly to the Senior Director of Business Development.

Responsibilities:

  • Target and generate annual revenue of 12M+
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers
  • Strategically position profitable solutions with new customers, focusing on domestic and international freight products and services
  • Expand company offerings and build density in foreign markets, such as Asia and Europe
  • Manage key accounts to grow company revenue
  • Grow 3-6 high-profile strategic customers
  • Prioritize sales targets and propose winning partnerships with target accounts
  • Develop strategies to connect with prospective business partners
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop presentations showcasing the company's value proposition
  • Ask for orders to meet sales goals
  • Coordinate with Administrative and Operations personnel to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Follow industry best practices

Requirements:

  • Specific knowledge of international and domestic freight forwarding and market trends
  • Experience strategically positioning profitable solutions in the freight industry
  • Ability to create and execute sales plans to meet goals
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field; master's preferred
  • 7+ years of executive-level selling in international freight forwarding and logistics
  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, and commercial transportation sales
  • Experience with Salesforce software
  • Experience with managing large customer accounts in transportation
  • Experience in Dedicated Fleet, International Freight Forwarding, Transportation Management, or Warehousing
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic selling techniques
  • Proven track record in relationship building at all organizational levels
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Travel up to 20% of the time
