Senior Sales Representative

Location: Melville, NY

Our client, a full-service environmental and construction firm located in Melville, NY, is currently seeking a Senior Sales Representative with a Type A Personality. This position requires the individual to be self-motivated, driven, and eager to learn and grow.

Applicants must live within a commutable distance of the office.

The Senior Sales Representative will be responsible for expanding existing customer relationships and cultivating new relationships and business opportunities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Achieving annual individual sales goals and generating new business opportunities by establishing relationships with industry professionals.
  • Securing new business through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Collaborating with the Estimating Department to assist with bid and proposal preparation, including inspecting, scoping, and photographing prospective projects.
  • Participating in Estimating Meetings/Conference Calls.
  • Ensuring that client bids are comprehensive, consistent, and well-written.
  • Tracking and following up on "pending" bids and estimates with customers.
  • Contributing to marketing and sales strategy, such as trade shows, advertising, etc., to increase industry recognition.
  • Participating in Monthly Sales Calls.
  • Utilizing Salesforce CRM system.
  • Supporting the Finance Department with collections.

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the Services / Environmental / Construction industry. Additionally, the following qualifications are required:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

**This position offers a base salary of $90-100k with commission/bonus opportunities. The uncapped on-target earnings (OTE) is $130k.**
