Skills and Experience:
This senior-level position will serve as the lead for either large commercial projects or small projects in executing scheduling responsibilities. The primary responsibility will be to gather and analyze project information and generate clear documents that help eliminate design discrepancies and issues, while enhancing the efficiency of project planning and scheduling. The individual will collaborate with the project team and trade partners to develop detailed schedules. The monitoring of projects will be done in accordance with established schedules based on departmental protocols. Furthermore, the role will involve inputting, analyzing, and monitoring design deliverables, procurement schedules, and construction timelines. The individual will also generate internal and external reports detailing project status. The work will entail utilizing planning/scheduling and cost techniques and methods, adapting them based on experience, and applying substantial evaluation, analysis, and modification to resolve problems.

- B.S. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration preferred.
Essential Job Duties:
The Project Scheduler is responsible for overseeing all project scheduling activities for the assigned projects. The Scheduler will create schedules based on their expertise in schedule development and the construction industry.
- Generate conceptual schedules independently or with minimal input from the project team, which will be further refined and discussed by the team.
- Preferably seeking candidates with strong scheduling and 3D modeling skills.
- Maintain a database of estimated durations for different activities and overall project durations.
- Develop the initial baseline schedule by properly sequencing work activities.
- Supervise and coordinate all project scheduling activities, providing necessary updates, forecasts, and reports.
- Create project schedule layouts in collaboration with the project team, alternate schedules, and progress measurement plans.
- Review and evaluate monthly updates to the schedule from Vendors and Subcontractors.
- Ensure that the updates accurately reflect the work completed.
- Understand the project's flow and logistics requirements.
- Support ongoing projects by working closely with the project manager and discipline leads, assessing project status, identifying improvement opportunities, delays, and areas requiring increased focus.
- Suggest alternative plans to keep the project on track.
- Perform other duties as assigned by project management.
