Your Role and Impact:

As the Senior Scientist & Study Director, you will oversee in-vivo studies focused on cell and gene therapy, specifically in areas such as Toxicology, BioDistribution, B-Cells, T-Cells, Oncology, and the Central Nervous System. The studies primarily involve the use of immunocompromised mouse models.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of 5 research associates and a junior study director with visionary guidance.

Ensure excellence in the technical aspects of conducting, interpreting, documenting, and reporting pivotal studies.

Design scientifically robust yet cost-effective studies to meet the needs of our sponsors.

Act as a liaison between sponsors, internal scientists, veterinary staff, and our business development team.

Engage in cutting-edge research projects while ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.

What We're Looking For:

A Ph.D. degree and at least 3 years of laboratory animal research experience.

Previous experience in managing studies and teams.

In-depth knowledge of cell and gene therapy programs.

Proficiency in working with diverse animal models, particularly in surgical procedures.

Expertise in immunology, cell culture, flow cytometry, and setting up new laboratories.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and statistical software.

Strong skills in technical writing and pre-clinical GLP studies.

Extensive understanding of physiology, anatomy, and pharmacology.

Experience in a CRO and a Board Certification in Toxicology (DABT) are advantageous.
