Responsibilities

The Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the material planning, inventory control, storage, shipping, and receiving functions. This senior-level role will primarily focus on materials management and will involve collaboration with other departments to meet business needs.

Key duties include:

• Collaborating with the purchasing, production, and engineering departments to ensure proper supply and efficient material movement.
• Developing and maintaining inventory control systems by monitoring purchase orders, inventory levels, and production requirements.
• Reviewing and improving existing procedures for accuracy and efficiency.
• Forecasting and planning for future materials requirements.
• Ensuring the availability of materials by reviewing production schedules.

Qualifications

• · A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 10 years of related experience.
• · Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Top candidates will also have:
• · Experience with 'Lean' material management.
• · Expert knowledge in data analysis tools such as Excel and Access.
• · Strong verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with other departments.
• · Ability to develop and maintain strong, team-oriented relationships with colleagues.
