Siemens Parker-Hannifin Electrical Controls Engineer

  • An Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering degree; minimum of two years of experience in controls engineering with Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Parker-Hannifin; and experience in web handling are required for this position.
  • This position may require domestic travel for up to six weeks per year.
  • The salary for this position can go up to $81,000.

This well-established industrial controls and instrumentation manufacturer is currently hiring for a full-time, permanent Electrical Controls Engineer with experience in Siemens or Parker-Hannifin controls. The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include:

  • Designing and developing electrical controls and control panels for web handling control systems.
  • Programming PLCs, HMIs, and drives.
  • Overseeing the construction of control panels.
  • Serving as the project manager for assigned projects.
  • Commissioning control systems at client sites.
  • Ensuring projects are completed within budget and timelines.
  • Creating electrical schematics.
  • Interacting with customers as necessary.
  • Delivering presentations to various levels of stakeholders.
  • Participating in budgeting processes.
  • Working with cutting-edge technology, including robotic programming and factory automation.
  • Traveling for approximately four to six weeks per year.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in controls engineering with Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Parker-Hannifin.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in HMI development.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in web handling.
  • Ability to travel domestically for four to six weeks per year.
  • Stable work history with solid experience.
  • Must be a United States citizen or possess a Green Card.
  • Residence within 45 minutes of the Appleton, Wisconsin area is required.
