This expanding manufacturer of industrial controls and instrumentation is seeking a full-time, permanent Electrical Engineering Controls Engineer with experience in Siemens or Parker-Hannifin systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Designing and developing electrical controls and control panels for web handling control systems
  • Programming PLCs, HMIs and drives
  • Overseeing the construction of control panels
  • Serving as the project manager for assigned projects
  • Commissioning control systems at client sites
  • Ensuring projects are completed within budget and on time
  • Creating electrical schematics
  • Interacting with customers as needed
  • Presenting to various levels within the organization
  • Participating in budgeting activities
  • Working with cutting-edge technology, including robotic programming and factory automation
  • Traveling for four to six weeks annually
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering
  • At least two years of experience in controls engineering with Allen Bradley, Siemens or Parker-Hannifin
  • Minimum of two years of HMI experience
  • Two years of experience with web handling
  • Ability to travel domestically for four to six weeks annually
  • Stable work history
  • Must be a US citizen or possess a Green Card
  • Reside within 45 minutes of the company location
