This expanding manufacturer of industrial controls and instrumentation is seeking a full-time, permanent Electrical Engineering Controls Engineer with experience in Siemens or Parker-Hannifin systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing electrical controls and control panels for web handling control systems
- Programming PLCs, HMIs and drives
- Overseeing the construction of control panels
- Serving as the project manager for assigned projects
- Commissioning control systems at client sites
- Ensuring projects are completed within budget and on time
- Creating electrical schematics
- Interacting with customers as needed
- Presenting to various levels within the organization
- Participating in budgeting activities
- Working with cutting-edge technology, including robotic programming and factory automation
- Traveling for four to six weeks annually
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering
- At least two years of experience in controls engineering with Allen Bradley, Siemens or Parker-Hannifin
- Minimum of two years of HMI experience
- Two years of experience with web handling
- Ability to travel domestically for four to six weeks annually
- Stable work history
- Must be a US citizen or possess a Green Card
- Reside within 45 minutes of the company location
