This is a full-time position for a 3D SolidWorks Mechanical Project Engineer. The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Managing projects to ensure timely completion within budget
- Creating, engineering, fabricating, and testing custom engineering projects using SolidWorks
- Reviewing detailed 3D SolidWorks drawings for custom engineering projects
- Collaborating with vendors, customers, and colleagues from various engineering and production disciplines
- Creating and managing the Production Ready Library
- Preparing Engineering Change Notices and bills of materials
- Coordinating integration processes for projects
- Overseeing field installations
The successful candidate must possess:
- Minimum of two years' experience as a Project Engineer, with at least two years of experience in biotechnology, food, and/or pharmaceutical industries, specifically with sanitary piping
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Stable work history
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Residence located within a 45-minute commute from Whitewater, WI
