Senior Accounts Manager

Location: Rosemont, IL

We are a global leader in manufacturing and selling specialty food ingredients. We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Account Manager to join our team in Rosemont, IL. This position will be responsible for directing and managing all commercial efforts for our food ingredient products in the Midwest region of the United States, as well as specific national accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and at least 7 years of sales experience in the food ingredient or specialty chemical industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow, manage, and onboard existing and new customers in assigned territory
  • Develop strategic plans for new and existing customers
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new application opportunities
  • Identify prospective customers and opportunities for business growth
  • Build relationships with key decision makers in customer organizations
  • Conduct technical sales presentations to showcase our ingredients
  • Represent the company at trade shows
  • Travel as needed (25-40%, domestic and international)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the food ingredient or specialty chemical industry
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
  • Proven success in selling commercial ingredients directly to customers and through a distributor network

This position is a hybrid of remote and in-person work (3 days in office).
