We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Morristown, TN. In this role, you will play a critical role in our financial operations and report directly to the Controller. Your expertise in preparing detailed financial reports and analyzing profits, losses, and tax obligations will be crucial to our organization's success. You will have the opportunity to work autonomously, engage in open dialogue with senior leaders, and make a visible impact on our manufacturing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead reviews of standard cost accounting for materials and finished goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
· Maintain accurate inventory reporting, playing a pivotal role in this process.
· Contribute to the preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements to drive our financial success.
· Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, which include bank accounts, inventories, fixed assets, and liabilities.
· Collaborate with external auditors and provide essential information during audits.
· Evaluate and recommend improvements to processes, policies, and systems, with a specific focus on SOX compliance, to drive innovation in our organization.
· Organize and execute cycle counts and annual physical inventory to ensure precision and accountability.
· Deliver insightful product margin reports and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
· Take on additional related duties that contribute to our overall success as assigned by Management.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
· A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
· Must be willing to work onsite 5 days per week in a team environment.
· In-depth knowledge of financial and cost accounting principles.
· Experience in enhancing processes, policies, and systems, particularly related to SOX compliance.
· Proficiency with accounting software and ERP-based financial systems.
· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
