Job Description

• Supervise daily accounting tasks, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger management
• Ensure prompt billing and collections, with proactive measures taken for outstanding payments
• Maintain precise financial records and conduct account reconciliations
• Generate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to facilitate business expansion
• Handle payroll, tax submissions, and adherence to financial regulations
• Utilize Sage accounting software and Excel for financial tracking and reporting purposes
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance financial processes and efficiencies

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting or financial management
• Thorough understanding of bookkeeping, collections, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Sage (or similar accounting software) and Excel
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in a fast-paced setting
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Background in a small business or startup environment is advantageous
