Senior Human Resources Specialist

Location: Florence, KY

We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Specialist for a premier employer located in Florence, KY.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Human Resources Specialist, you will work under the direction of the HR Director to support various HR functions. Your main responsibilities will include processing bi-weekly salary payroll, managing employee benefits, recruiting salary employees, and handling employee relations. Additionally, you will assist in developing and implementing an effective recruitment program and coordinating training resources.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Prior experience in payroll processing

· Strong background in complex employee relations

· Experience working in a manufacturing setting

· Ability to maintain integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

· Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

· Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly salary payroll and prepare relevant reports
  • Manage employee benefit administration for new hires and existing employees
  • Recruit salary associates
  • Oversee annual open enrollment process
  • Handle attendance processing, monthly performance evaluations, and corrective counseling
  • Collaborate with operations to resolve employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and provide employee relations counseling
  • Serve as subject matter expert for Paycor/HRIS system
  • Assist in the development and implementation of recruiting and retention strategies
  • Support initiatives aimed at promoting positive employee engagement and culture
  • Review, update, and communicate human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards, and federal regulations in collaboration with the HR Director
  • Work with HR Director and operations to create and implement a training and development program
  • Compile and report relevant HR metrics to the HR Director
  • Promote a culture of openness, honesty, and integrity through fair and consistent associate relation practices and communication
  • Complete required reports such as ACA, FAS, and EEOC
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed
