Job Details:

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will manage the daily operations of our network security systems, both on-prem and in the cloud. You will provide guidance and support to our network engineering team and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our network resources. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of network security technologies, including CloudFlare Magic Transit, F5 ASM and AFM, Palo Alto firewalls, and AWS security groups and firewalls. We are looking for someone with strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to risk mitigation.


  • Analyze and secure applications in Cloudflare Web Application Firewall
  • Configure and maintain F5 Active Security Management and Advanced Firewall Management platform
  • Enhance Palo Alto Next Gen firewalls and migrate from Checkpoint firewalls
  • Collaborate with other teams to maintain network security policies as infrastructure evolves
  • Implement monitoring policies, procedures, and standards for network availability and security
  • Repair and recover from hardware or software failures, troubleshoot firewalls and network links
  • Prepare firewall/network security gear for deployment in data centers or AWS
  • Analyze and implement 3rd party solutions for company applications, assess risks
  • Design and implement network security solutions, including firewalls and VPNs
  • Contribute to the security efforts of the network engineering team, providing guidance and expertise
  • Enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance
  • Participate in security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend measures
  • Monitor network traffic and security logs for threats, take preventive actions
  • Investigate and respond to network and security incidents, analyze root causes and implement solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure network connectivity
  • Stay updated on network threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies, provide recommendations
  • Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity plans, evaluate third-party solutions


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PCNSE, PCCSE, CCNP Security) are highly desirable
  • Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer with at least 5 years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of Palo Alto and F5 devices and technologies
  • Thorough understanding of network security principles, protocols, and technologies
  • Proficiency in network infrastructure design, implementation, and support
  • Experience with network monitoring and security tools
  • In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and network protocols
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive mindset and ability to anticipate risks
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
