Salary: $150,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year

The Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures using radiopharmaceuticals to assist in diagnosis and/or treatment in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role requires a valid license in all scopes of practice as defined by the State of California Radiologic Health branch. The technologist must be able to work safely in an acute care setting and collaborate effectively with anesthesia and other patient care departments. Additionally, the role involves collecting, preparing, and analyzing biologic specimens, performing radiation safety and quality control procedures, and participating in performance improvement activities.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate competency and assume a lead/coordinator role
- Instruct and demonstrate competency in two or more specialty procedures
- Participate in clinical protocol development, improvement, and implementation
Certifications:
- CTNM: NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification
- CA state license - Certified Technologist, Nuclear Medicine from CA Department of Public Health
- BLS (CPR) Certification
- Flexibility in scheduling, ability to rotate locations and shifts, and provide weekend coverage
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine training program
Experience:
- Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Principal Nuclear Medicine Technologist: Minimum 7 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
