The Senior Refrigeration Engineer is responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned projects, utilizing our project management system to achieve project objectives. This includes collaborating with a team in the planning, organization, implementation, and completion of projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project plans, considering mechanical and manufacturing aspects of design.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of project details.
• Assist in devising business and facility strategies to ensure product line growth.
• Participate in Project Identification meetings to define project specifications and scope.
• Utilize the Project Management System to successfully execute engineering programs and meet project objectives.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather input, communicate project progress, and conduct scheduled project reviews.
• Review product design for adherence to engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
• Coordinate activities to resolve technical developments, scheduling issues, and design test problems.
• Evaluate and recommend design changes and specifications.
• Collaborate with other Engineers to provide expertise and input.
• Estimate project expenses and maintain budget control.
• Provide guidance and support to Engineers and Technicians with less experience.
• Perform other tasks as necessary or directed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience or training
• Strong problem-solving and mathematical skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret scientific and technical reports
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with all levels, including senior management
• Proficiency in using MS Office and other relevant software
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data
• Highly organized with strong time management skills
