Lead Project Manager
Location: KEOKUK, IA
To overcome the challenges that lie ahead, we are in search of a Senior Engineering Project Manager CAPEX to join our esteemed US Engineering Team. In this role, you will provide assistance and guidance to our internal client (GBU Manufacturing plants), translating their needs into practical solutions for the food and pharma process industry. You will have the responsibility of overseeing various CAPEX industrial projects, ranging from 5 to 50 million dollars, from their initial stages through to final installation and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to define engineering requirements
- Establish project organization in consultation with relevant hierarchies
- Identify necessary resources (time, money, equipment) for project completion
- Develop technical proposals based on production process and user requirements
- Prepare estimated budget and seek approval
- Lead technical communication with vendors and contractors, managing SAP Purchase Requisitions
- Ensure overall control of project quality, costs, and timeframes
- Create project implementation plan, schedule, and monitor progress
- Manage team resources and oversee field construction activities
- Provide technical leadership to project teams
- Communicate effectively with engineers and other stakeholders to resolve complex issues and innovate designs
- Review project schedule and report progress to senior management
- Analyze failures and implement appropriate actions
- Organize and coordinate project tasks and adjust schedule as needed
- Plan different stages of the industrial project and identify necessary means for completion
- Split time between office and plant environment (50% each)
- Travel to other US manufacturing plants for projects
