Senior Construction Sales Consultant - Chicago, IL

Location: Chicago, IL or any city in the Midwest

We are a company that specializes in providing AI solutions for the construction sector. We are currently seeking an Account Executive / Solution Consultant with a strong sales background in the construction industry. This role is available for candidates in the Midwest and the Northeast regions.

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in selling technology to the construction sector and be motivated to actively seek out new opportunities. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about the impact that advanced technologies can have on the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Target and acquire new accounts within the assigned territory
• Prospect, engage in outbound activities, and develop existing accounts
• Build trust and credibility with customers by acting as a consultant
• Manage and maintain a sales pipeline, providing accurate forecasting and reporting
• Develop and grow partnerships through added value to existing customers
• Understand the business needs of construction companies

Qualifications:

• Experience in sales to the construction sector or an executive role in that sector (required)
• Proven success in selling technology to the construction industry
• Credibility within the construction sector
• Passionate about construction and/or technology and its potential impact on the industry
• Excellent stakeholder management and networking skills
• Determined and target-oriented
• Able to work well under pressure
• Candidates with Senior Business Development Manager experience in top 100 General Contractors who are looking to transition into technology sales will be considered
