Salary: $180,000-200,000 + Bonus + Full Benefits + Paid Relocation + Signing Bonus

We are seeking a Subcontracts Manager to join our team in Chantilly, VA. In this position, you will contribute to the success and profitability of our organization, which provides essential defense services to our nation.


The Senior Subcontracts Manager will lead and serve as the main point of contact for all contractual communications and commitments with subcontractors. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop complex subcontract statements of work, technical specifications, and necessary flow-down requirements from a business and contract perspective. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all subcontract documentation mitigates supplier performance risks and adheres to program contract terms, conditions, and federal regulations before acceptance. Additionally, you will establish and maintain long-term relationships with subcontractors, leveraging these partnerships to gain a competitive advantage for the organization. This position presents an opportunity for you to demonstrate your leadership skills on a global scale.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience

· Extensive knowledge of applicable contractual flow-downs, federal, state, and local laws, as well as Federal Acquisition Requirements/DFAR, and the ability to apply them in the procurement process

· Expertise in a specific commodity, product, or technology

· Advanced working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) / Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) compliance

· Ability to manage complex subcontract activities, including subcontractor budgets, program reviews, schedules, risks, technical performance, and earned value management

· Ability to understand and influence decision makers to meet business and customer needs, taking into account both supplier and internal politics

· Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to develop win-win solutions

· Excellent analytical skills to solve complex problems
