Responsibilities

• Achieve personal selling and client engagement goals
• Oversee all activities necessary to achieve store goals, including financial objectives, client service, human resources management, operational controls, payroll, and operating expenses, while promoting associate and client engagement
• Coordinate the setup of advertising displays and merchandise arrangements to drive sales
• Manage the gallery and its team members in a professional and inclusive manner, adhering to Human Resource standards as outlined in company policies and guidelines
• Directly supervise part-time sales employees, conducting effective performance discussions, setting objectives, and holding associates accountable to goals
• Coordinate and execute various events and classes to achieve financial goals, such as Owner's Classes, clubs, demos, Creative Classes, and freelance educator events
• Provide excellent customer service, prioritize the client's needs, and innovate to obtain and retain customers
• Recruit, select, develop, and retain a full store team, holding individuals accountable for their performance

Qualifications

• Creativity and passion with a willingness to share sewing expertise with customers
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a degree in Business or Fashion Design/Merchandising as a plus
• At least one year of retail experience with a proven record of closing sales and managing business trends
• Direct knowledge of our machines and products
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment
• Excellent communication skills through various forms of technology
• Physical ability to move around the office and lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work a schedule that may include evening, holiday, and weekend shifts
