Retail Supervisor
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Responsibilities
- Achieve personal selling and client engagement goals
- Oversee all activities necessary to achieve store goals, including financial objectives, client service, human resources management, operational controls, payroll, and operating expenses, while promoting both associate and client engagement
- Supervise the setup of advertising displays or arrangements of merchandise on counters or tables to drive sales
- Lead and manage the gallery and its team members in a professional and inclusive manner, adhering to Human Resource standards and Company policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines
- Directly supervise part-time sales employees, conducting effective performance discussions, setting clear objectives, and holding associates accountable to goals
- Coordinate and execute Owner's Classes, clubs, demos, Creative Classes, and freelance educator events to achieve financial goals
- Provide excellent customer service, innovating to acquire and retain customers, and serve as a role model with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Recruit, select, develop, and retain a high-performing store team and hold individuals accountable for their performance
Qualifications
- Passion and creativity with a willingness to share sewing expertise with customers
- High School diploma or equivalent. A degree in Business or Fashion Design/Merchandising is a plus!
- At least one year of retail experience with a proven track record in closing sales, forecasting and analyzing business trends, and managing payroll expense to maximize store performance
- Direct knowledge of our machines and products
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment
- Excellent communication skills, including proficiency with telephone and computer communication
- Ability to move about inside the office and perform stationary tasks for extended periods
- Capable of lifting and repositioning products, such as sewing machines, weighing up to 50 pounds
- Flexible schedule availability, including evening, holiday, and weekend shifts
