Retail Operations Manager

Location: Orlando, FL


  • Achieve personal selling and client engagement goals
  • Oversee all activities necessary to achieve store goals, including financial objectives, client service, human resources management, operational controls, payroll, and operating expenses, while fostering associate and client engagement
  • Manage the arrangement of merchandise on counters or tables for effective sales promotion
  • Supervise the gallery and its team members in an inclusive and professional manner, adhering to Human Resource standards outlined in Company policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines
  • Provide direct supervision to part-time sales employees, including conducting effective performance discussions, setting clear objectives, and holding associates accountable to goals
  • Coordinate and execute various events, such as Owner's Classes, clubs, demos, Creative Classes, and freelance educator events, to achieve financial goals
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, demonstrating the ability to function as a role model and prioritize the client's needs
  • Recruit, select, develop, and retain a high-performing store team


  • Creativity and passion with a willingness to share sewing expertise
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with a degree in Business or Fashion Design/Merchandising being a plus
  • Minimum of one year of retail experience with a proven track record in closing sales, ability to analyze business trends, and effectively manage payroll expenses to maximize store performance
  • Demonstrated knowledge of our machines and products
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment
  • Excellent communication skills using various technology platforms
  • Physical ability to move around the office and handle products weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work schedules that may include evenings, holidays, and weekends
