Responsibilities

• Achieve personal selling and client engagement goals
• Oversee all activities necessary to achieve store goals, including financial objectives, client service, human resources management, operational controls, payroll, and operating expenses while driving associate and client engagement
• Supervise the arrangement of advertising displays and merchandise to promote sales
• Manage the gallery and its team members in a professional and inclusive manner, adhering to Human Resource standards
• Directly supervise part-time sales employees, conducting performance discussions and setting clear objectives
• Coordinate and execute various customer events and classes to achieve financial goals
• Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating the ability to function as a role model
• Recruit, select, develop, and retain the full store team, holding individuals accountable for performance

Qualifications

• Creativity and passion with a willingness to share sewing expertise with customers
• High School diploma or equivalent, with a degree in Business or Fashion Design/Merchandising being a plus
• At least one year of retail experience with a demonstrated success in closing sales
• Direct knowledge of our machines and products
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing retail environment
• Effective communication skills through multiple forms of technology
• Physical ability to occasionally move about the office and handle products weighing up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work evening, holiday, and weekend shifts
