Building Design Engineer

As a Building Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects, overseeing the development and execution of structural engineering designs, and maintaining positive relationships with clients.

Requirements:
- 5-10 years of progressive experience in structural building design
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering (preferred)
- Professional Engineering license in Structural Engineering (preferred)
- Experience in designing building structures using various materials such as concrete, steel, masonry, and wood
Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to the realization of projected growth for the company
- Develop and execute structural engineering design development
- Create structural systems for buildings, including both gravity and lateral considerations
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with new and existing clients
- Plan and estimate project work and manpower requirements, while controlling the budget
- Manage major and minor design projects from start to finish
- Prepare and review design drawings and specifications
