As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering of multistory structures of varying complexities. This includes directing the efforts of other engineers, reviewing their work, and ensuring the completion of reports, calculations, and plans.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Lead the structural engineering efforts for design-build projects and collaborate with other design disciplines and internal teams.

• Coordinate structural design with various disciplines and teams.
• Prepare design documents, including narratives and construction drawings.
• Create and analyze 2D and 3D structural models.
• Utilize Revit for detailed models and drawings.
• Carry out Construction Administration duties, such as design review and site visits.
• Evaluate and develop remediations for work performed on structures.
• Conduct design reviews and value engineering for structural systems.
• Assess temporary loads and conditions on structures.
• Prepare required analysis, calculations, plans, and reports.
• Review documentation prepared by other engineers.
• Provide daily supervision and training to staff.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
• 10+ years of engineering and design experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain Professional Engineering Licensure within 6 months of hire
• Expertise in designing structures according to industry specifications
• Experience in designing various types of structures
• Strong engineering judgment and reasoning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams
• Innovative, strategic, and service-oriented mindset
• Strong organizational skills
• Willingness to travel, if necessary
