Automotive Supplier Quality Engineer I & Engineer II
A well-established global company is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer I or Supplier Quality Engineer II for their large manufacturing facility located to the east of the Atlanta, GA metropolitan area. Job Responsibilities:
- Lead supplier quality assessments and reviews, analyze supplier performance, and ensure quality standards are met for assigned products.
- Develop and maintain inspection strategies, train quality assurance teams, and improve receiving inspection processes.
- Coordinate audits, lead quality improvement projects, and oversee product sorting functions to address quality concerns.
- Document data related to inspection activities, nonconforming items, and quality issues, and maintain inspection databases.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field, 1+ years of experience for Engineer I and 3+ years for Engineer II. Proficiency in QC tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with experience in automotive manufacturing preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversee and supervise employees.
Physical Demands:
Sitting for long periods and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
Office environment with occasional exposure to manufacturing areas requiring personal protective equipment.
