Corrugated Technical Sales Representative

Our representatives have the opportunity to earn base salary plus commissions, with the possibility of transitioning to uncapped commissions once established. We do not offer relocation assistance, so candidates must be local and prepared to make their own arrangements. Living within an hour of the work sites is acceptable.
The Corrugated Technical Sales Representative is responsible for effectively managing existing customer accounts and establishing new opportunities in order to meet annual sales objectives.
Key responsibilities of the Sales Representative include managing current customer relationships, prospecting for and engaging with new customers.
The representative will work closely with management to develop a budget plan, collaborating with the Area Operations teams to understand and promote available machine capacity and value-added services. Additionally, the representative will support cross-functional teams in implementing the sales strategy.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Clearly communicate the sales vision and strategy to identify leads, manage prospects, and develop a strong sales pipeline
- Achieve or surpass individual budgeted sales goals to contribute to the organization's annual targets
- Effectively utilize the CRM system (Salesforce.com) to consistently manage opportunities and the sales pipeline
- Establish relationships at multiple levels within customer organizations and navigate their organizational structure effectively
- Manage contractual relationships and negotiate multi-year contracts
- Meet weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets to deliver results
- Drive Commercial Excellence to exceed volume and profit goals, including developing new accounts within targeted segments, growing existing accounts, implementing margin improvement plans, and providing enterprise sales support
- Leverage internal resources to stay informed about market trends and competition
- Track profitability levels, analyze monthly financial summaries, and monitor progress against budgeted targets
- Have a deep understanding of market dynamics and business drivers that affect long-term commercial strategies and formulate strategies to achieve company objectives
- Cultivate relationships with other internal facilities to create additional revenue streams across the enterprise's capabilities
- Identify and qualify prospective customers according to the sales strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of the overall sales strategy
- Identify opportunities for adding value and improving margins in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Manage customer engagement throughout the sales lifecycle to ensure contract obligations are met and to promote customer satisfaction
Required qualifications:
- 2-5+ years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience, preferably in the manufacturing or service industry
- Experience in sales execution and pipeline management
- Ability to influence others and drive results across different functions
- Exemplary presentation skills for engaging both internal and external audiences
- Demonstrated sales competence and financial acumen
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Experience using Salesforce.com
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI and QlikView
