Corrugated Packaging Sales Representative

Sales Representatives qualify for a base salary plus commissions. Once established, there is the option to switch to uncapped commissions. Relocation assistance is not available, so candidates must be local or willing to move on their own within an hour of the job location.

The role of the Sales Representative is to effectively manage existing customer accounts and identify new opportunities to meet annual sales objectives.

The Sales Representative is responsible for managing relationships with current customers, as well as prospecting and engaging new customers.

They will collaborate with management to develop budget plans, work with Area Operations teams to understand and promote available machine capacity and value-added services, and support cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of the sales strategy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Clearly communicate the sales vision and strategy to identify new opportunities, manage prospects, and build a strong sales pipeline
  • Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to the organization's annual targets
  • Effectively use CRM system (Salesforce.com) to manage opportunities and maintain a consistent pipeline
  • Build relationships at various levels within customer organizations
  • Manage and negotiate multi-year contracts
  • Meet weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets to deliver results
  • Drive Commercial Excellence by developing new accounts, growing existing accounts, improving margins, and providing enterprise sales support
  • Utilize internal resources to stay informed about market trends and competition
  • Analyze monthly financial summaries to track profitability and progress towards targets
  • Understand market dynamics and business drivers that impact the long-term sales strategy
  • Collaborate with internal facilities to generate additional revenue opportunities
  • Identify and qualify prospective customers based on the sales strategy
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of the sales strategy
  • Identify value-add opportunities to improve margins in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Manage customer engagement throughout the sales process to ensure contractual obligations are met and customer satisfaction is achieved

Requirements:

  • 2-5+ years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience (preferably in the manufacturing/service industry)
  • Experience in sales execution and pipeline management
  • Ability to drive results by influencing others in different functions
  • Strong presentation skills for internal and external audiences
  • Demonstrated sales competence and financial acumen
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI and QlikView
