Our company is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist. This individual will be a crucial addition to the team and will work closely with customers, providing technical assistance for our internal Paperboard segment. This is a highly visible role and it is essential to develop strategic partnerships with our customer base and production facilities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills to gather information from clients and the market, providing valuable insights to help our company deliver enhanced value to our customers.

  • This position may require significant travel, including potential international travel, and may involve weekends. On average, travel is expected to be around 50-60%.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures within the food service industry.
  • Deliver on-site and remote customer services, such as commercial startups, troubleshooting, training, and account maintenance visits.
  • Provide accurate and timely service, audits, quality assessments, and technical consultations.
  • Promote the company's value-added services to our Commercial Print customers.
  • Support the sales force by proactively contacting customers and presenting value propositions.
  • Offer support and assistance for engineering and design improvements and changes.
  • Participate in innovation projects, including trial coverage at the mill and/or customer sites.
  • Contribute to both internal and external process improvement initiatives.
  • Complete all assigned reporting and communications accurately and on time.
