Compensation and Benefits Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced Compensation and Benefits Manager to oversee and manage their compensation and benefits programs. In this important role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with laws and regulations while providing exceptional support to employees and executives. This is a full-time position based in Morgantown, WV.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire compensation and benefits lifecycle, including implementation, maintenance, and updates to programs.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records are maintained for all employees.
  • Prepare and deliver communications to employees regarding compensation and benefits programs.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns regarding compensation and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit required reports and filings to regulatory authorities.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team on budgeting and forecasting for compensation and benefits programs.
  • Conduct regular audits of compensation and benefits data to identify any errors or discrepancies.
  • Work closely with legal counsel and finance teams on compensation and benefits matters.
  • Stay informed on changes to compensation and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Implement process improvements and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of compensation and benefits administration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in compensation and benefits management.
  • Thorough understanding of compensation and benefits principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in relevant software programs and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
