Rehabilitation Project Coordinator

Location: Lemont, IL
We are currently seeking a Rehabilitation Project Coordinator to join our team in Lemont, IL. As a member of our planning team, you will be responsible for developing detailed and integrated plans for low, medium, or high complexity rehabilitation projects. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of project execution, including safety, environmental compliance, budgeting, and coordination with engineering and purchasing. Your main goal will be to ensure that all milestones are met and projects are completed successfully.
  • Facilitate the development of rehabilitation project scopes throughout the refinery by utilizing various technical resources, inspections, and engineering expertise.
  • Procure the most qualified and cost-effective service providers (specialty contractors) for project execution.
  • Develop work breakdown structures to analyze and track project costs.
  • Analyze and provide logic to planned work steps for critical path analysis, optimizing project schedules and reducing manpower and cost requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of annual budgets for rehabilitation projects.
  • Supervise, train, and coach other planners and foremen to ensure successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing department to procure necessary materials and services, ensuring timely delivery and quality contractors.
  • Develop and assemble management documents to communicate project safety, cost and schedule compliance, and manpower utilization.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent plus 6 years of craft or industrial maintenance experience in a refining environment

OR

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management plus 2 years of experience as a Planner or equivalent

Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent plus 10 years of craft or industrial maintenance experience in a refining environment

OR

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management plus 8 years of experience as a Planner or equivalent

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of planning and scheduling software
  • Experience with SAP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
