Desired Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Radiology or Ultrasound
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT Sonography (S)
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
Hours and Compensation:
- Full-time position: 2 schedule options available- Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 8am-5:30pm or Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 7am-7pm. Both positions require being on call for one day per week and one weekend per month.
- Salary range is between $48K-$72K, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
Additional Information:
- The position reports directly to the Director of Radiology.
- The ultrasound tech will receive patients, explain the procedure, and ensure patient comfort.
- Provide diagnostic imaging services to patients of all ages utilizing various imaging techniques.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures in accordance with established standards and practices.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, and keep the work area organized.
- Maintain accurate records, assist with scheduling ultrasound appointments, and ensure smooth patient flow.
- Assist radiologists with interventional procedures as directed (e.g., paracentesis, needle aspirations/biopsy).
