Director of Sales - Real Estate Tech
Role: Vice President of Sales – Real Estate / Property Management Technology
Location: Brooklyn, NY
An established company specializing in Real Estate / Property Management software solutions is in need of a seasoned Software Sales Executive to spearhead the organization's growth initiatives.
The ideal Sales Executive for this role should possess a track record of success in software sales within the real estate, construction, property management, or related fields.
Responsibilities will focus on expanding sales and fostering relationships with REITS and Multifamily Housing Operators.
The individual hired will be tasked with developing and guiding the sales team within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage high-potential prospects in the multifamily housing market
- Strategically collaborate with REITs to boost the company’s software usage
- Expand and mentor the sales team within the organization
- Lead sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposal development
- Negotiate and finalize enterprise-level agreements
- Collaborate with internal teams in product, implementation, and support departments
- Attend and represent the company at regional events, trade shows, and conferences
- Create a robust sales pipeline and maintain accurate forecasts in the CRM system
- Cultivate enduring client relationships and ensure ongoing client satisfaction
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of enterprise software (SaaS) sales experience
- Managed and mentored software sales professionals in previous roles
- Demonstrated success in selling to or within the multifamily property management sector
- Experience working closely with REITs
- Strong negotiation and closing capabilities with a consultative sales approach
- Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote capacity
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Willingness to travel as needed within the region
