Employee Injury Lawyer
Our client, a law firm specializing in defending Workers’ Compensation cases, is currently looking for experienced Senior and Associate Attorneys with a minimum of 4 years in workers' comp law. This is a remote position with salary based on experience.
Residency in California and active CA Bar license are mandatory.
The Attorneys will be responsible for managing the defense of workers' compensation cases from start to finish, including all legal proceedings and negotiations. They will collaborate closely with insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators.
Main duties:
- Advocating for insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured employers
- Drafting legal documents and facilitating settlements on workers' compensation cases
- Attending court hearings, conducting depositions, and managing schedules
- Negotiating lien claims and providing proactive case management
- Mentoring legal assistants, maintaining client relationships, and participating in marketing events
- Reviewing and updating case information in legal software
- Conducting training sessions for clients on relevant workers' compensation laws
- Staying current with developments in workers' compensation law
