Employee Injury Lawyer
Looking for experienced Senior and Associate Attorneys with a minimum of 4 years in workers' compensation law to join our client, a top Workers’ Compensation defense law firm. This remote position is based in San Francisco, CA. Compensation is based on experience.
Must be a California resident with an active CA Bar license.
Responsibilities include managing workers' compensation cases from start to finish, handling all aspects of discovery and litigation, and collaborating with insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators.
Main duties:
- Represent insurance carriers, 3rd party administrators, and self-insured employers
- Handle all client correspondence efficiently
- Prepare legal documents and negotiate settlements
- Attend court proceedings, manage schedules, and conduct depositions
- Manage lien claims and oversee case management
- Supervise legal assistant and provide case support
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues
- Engage in marketing activities with clients
- Review and update case information in software systems
- Meet deadlines for client communication and file reviews
- Provide training on workers' compensation laws to clients
- Stay informed about changes in workers' compensation laws
