Position Summary
We are in search of a committed and proficient Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to become a valuable member of our energetic team. This full-time position entails working Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, delivering exceptional care to patients with a range of speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Your specialized knowledge will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients by creating personalized and effective treatment plans.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients’ speech and language abilities.
- Create and execute customized treatment plans in conjunction with patients and their families.
- Offer guidance and support to patients and their families on treatment progress and improvement strategies.
- Manage patient discharge planning and ensure ongoing care post-therapy.
- Supervise and provide guidance to clinical fellows, students, and support staff.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Utah.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 60 days of hire.
