Assistant Marketing Manager

Location: New York, NY

A boutique law firm with offices in NYC and Miami is in search of a Marketing Assistant to help with strategic marketing and business development activities. This position will be instrumental in boosting the firm's brand visibility, promoting attorney presence, and engaging clients across various practice areas.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of firmwide marketing and business development strategies
  • Draft and edit marketing materials, such as pitch decks, client alerts, website content, and attorney bios
  • Update website content using CMS platforms and aid in SEO optimization
  • Collaborate with attorneys on RFP responses, proposals, and client presentations
  • Organize firm events, webinars, and client-focused initiatives
  • Support social media and digital marketing, including content scheduling and performance monitoring (e.g., LinkedIn)
  • Track marketing analytics and prepare reports on campaign effectiveness and ROI
  • Maintain marketing databases, contact lists, and CRM systems
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor actions, and growth opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
  • 3-10 years of marketing or business development experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services setting
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with CRM and email marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Mailchimp)
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Professional demeanor and effective interaction with attorneys and senior leadership

Desired Skills

  • Experience with legal directory submissions and award processes
  • Familiarity with website CMS platforms and basic HTML
  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM and digital marketing analytics tools
  • Previous exposure to event planning or client engagement endeavors

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary (typically $70,000 - $100,000, depending on experience)
