Packaging Production Team Lead
PACKAGING SUPERVISOR
Prior experience in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing is required for this position in Mcdonough, GA.
Responsibilities of a Production Team Lead include providing leadership to Production employees in all aspects. This includes maintaining proper staffing levels, implementing team building techniques for motivation and morale, organizing employee training processes, resolving conflicts and disciplinary actions, and ensuring that all employees are well qualified for production operations and trained on safety procedures and company SOP's and GMP's.
Collaboration with the Maintenance Department is essential to ensure that equipment is maintained and operational at all times to maximize efficiency.
The ability to maintain targeted production efficiency for individual production lines and contribute to the overall Plant efficiency is a key responsibility of the role.
Accountabilities:
- Solidify open communication with employees and support Departments
- Implement company's organizational and operational principals
- Coach the Production team to establish performance measures to achieve objectives and deliver results
- Conduct regular communication meetings with Team Leaders and production team to recognize successes and address issues
- Analyze production reports and data to identify adverse trends and create corrective action plans
Strong lean manufacturing background is preferred. A Bachelor's degree is also preferred for this position.
