Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Maintenance Mechanics & Electricians, ensuring predictive and preventative maintenance and machine repair.
- Develop and implement maintenance systems, processes, and documentation for efficient operations.
- Collaborate with Production to schedule and complete equipment and facility repairs in a timely manner.
- Establish Key Performance Indicators to measure maintenance performance.
- Provide troubleshooting support and solutions to operating teams.
- Train employees on work methods and safety procedures.
- Ensure compliance with USDA regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and inventory.
- Provide regular status reports to the maintenance management team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Associate's degree or maintenance certifications preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance supervision experience; preference for candidates with experience in food, consumer products, or beverage manufacturing.
- Strong technical skills in mechanical and electrical repair; knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, motors, and support equipment is a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of maintenance systems, work order processes, preventive/predictive maintenance, and scheduling software preferred.
- Strong leadership skills, including conflict resolution, facilitation, and decision-making.
- Ability to lead problem-solving and troubleshooting efforts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good planning and prioritization abilities.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
