Compensation Package: $250,000 - $290,000 before productivity bonus; (15-20 visits per day); including base salary, Sign bonus, Quarterly bonus, Retention bonus, Patient visits productivity bi-weekly bonuses, 401K, and Full benefits package. Relocation bonus available if needed.

Job Description – Medical Director / Infectious Disease Physician
Join our team at Healthcare Center Wellness Clinic as a Medical Director (Infectious Disease Physician) in our outpatient facility located in San Francisco, CA. Work with a dedicated team committed to providing quality care to the community.
Responsibilities
Physicians in this role will deliver high-quality care, meet productivity goals, and collaborate with the care team to ensure patient well-being. Reasonable accommodations will be provided for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
- Manage a minimum of 14 patients per 8-hour shift (or 7 patients in a half-day session).
- Oversee patient scheduling to optimize appointments and productivity.
- Complete documentation on the same day of the visit, or within 72 hours, with accurate billing codes.
- Provide primary care services for chronic and acute conditions, including but not limited to infections, HIV, STIs, and respiratory illnesses.
- Collaborate with staff to handle urgent care and walk-in patients effectively.
- Review consultant reports, imaging, and lab results in a timely manner.
- Process prescription renewals promptly.
- Monitor and respond to voicemails and emails daily.
- Support patient retention efforts by preparing retention summaries.
- Supervise mid-level providers and perform chart reviews or audits as needed.
- Participate in after-hours on-call coverage as assigned.
- Receive 4 hours of dedicated administrative time per week as a full-time physician.
Qualifications
- MD or DO with active, state-appropriate medical license.
- Valid DEA registration and Furnishing License.
- Prior experience in outpatient primary care.
- Able to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supportive environment.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
Education & Skills
- Doctorate (M.D. or D.O.); board certification preferred.
- Strong ability to interpret and apply clinical, legal, and technical information.
- Effective communication skills for patient interactions, documentation, and presentations.
- Organizational skills with a focus on timely documentation and patient follow-up.
- Mathematical/Analytical Skills: Proficient in applying ratios, percentages, and statistical reasoning.
- Reasoning Ability: Advanced critical thinking skills for patient care and clinic operations.
