Surgical Nurse
Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an Operating Room Circulator in Rutherfordton, NC. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch patient care in a dynamic surgical setting. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure smooth and safe surgical procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments for patient safety.
- Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all surgical procedures.
- Anticipate needs and facilitate a seamless workflow for the surgical team.
- Provide age-appropriate and procedure-specific nursing care throughout the perioperative process.
Requirements:
- Active North Carolina State License or Compact License with North Carolina endorsement.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Associate’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Surgery and Operating Room Circulating RN roles.
- Experience with orthopedic, general surgery, da Vinci, and some OB/GYN procedures.
Hours:
Standard hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with 1-2 on-call shifts weekly. A 30-minute response time for call-backs is expected.
Compensation and Perks:
