Production Team Leader

An esteemed food manufacturing company in Battleboro, NC is seeking Production Team Leaders for its bakery facility. Openings are available for first, second, and third shifts.
Take charge of a team of around 15-25 production workers, guiding the production of safe, top-quality goods while achieving production targets. This role provides hands-on leadership alongside an experienced supervisory team and opportunities for professional advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production operations, staffing, and shift allocations.
- Mentor, train, and develop staff while establishing clear performance standards.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety protocols.
- Track production metrics, address downtime, and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
- Communicate priorities and ensure smooth shift transitions.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in supervising production within the food manufacturing sector, with a focus on bakery or frozen food production.
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and foster accountability.
- Proficiency in food safety standards, GMPs, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Readiness to work assigned shifts and support production schedules.
Proposed Salary Range and Benefits:
