Sales Representative

Our client is a nationwide provider of information management services with facilities in major cities, including Washington, DC. They are currently seeking a skilled Sales Representative to sell their document solutions software, outsourced hosting, BPO, and workflow solutions.

The primary responsibility of this role is to maximize sales by acquiring new customers and prospects. This includes selling Document Storage Services, Electronic Document Management Solutions, Data Storage Services, Pathology Storage Services, and Shredding Services. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Generating leads and prospecting to maintain a pipeline of potential customers
  • Qualifying, researching, tracking, and developing leads into viable sales opportunities
  • Creating strong business cases, proposals, and presentations
  • Negotiating agreement terms and closing sales
  • Staying informed about industry trends, technology, and competition to provide valuable feedback
  • Participating in relevant professional organizations


  • Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in document management
  • 2+ years of experience selling SaaS
  • Strong hunter mentality with the ability to prospect and sell into new accounts
  • Driven to succeed and excel, with a passion for the business
  • Comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment with constant change
  • Technical awareness and ability to communicate with C-level contacts
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Proven record of exceeding quota in previous positions
  • Demonstrated ability to win competitive account sales
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree
