Responsibilities:
- The role of the Business Development Director involves identifying potential clients, developing strategies to engage them, conducting campaigns to target prospects, establishing relationships, understanding the clients' crucial business strategies, and collaborating with subject matter experts to design and execute solutions that enable clients to achieve their business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of ten years of direct B2B sales experience, specifically in engaging Fortune 1000 companies.
- Demonstrated track record of cultivating new business by selling professional services.
- Considerable experience with high-value sales (sales worth $250k and above).
- Familiarity with a wide range of sales cycles, varying from three to six to twelve months.
- Strong, consistent work history with a maximum of three positions in the last ten years.
- Compensation primarily based on commission and bonuses.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth through lead generation.
Compensation Package:
Compensation is uncapped and tied to individual performance. The company offers a base salary of $135K, plus commission and a bonus linked to fiscal year revenue production and profitability.
