We are in search of a skilled individual to lead our Service & Parts division within the mining and bulk material handling sectors.
The primary focus of this role is to develop and implement a growth strategy for After Sales services, expand service offerings, increase spare parts revenue, and foster lasting relationships with mining clients.
Responsibilities include overseeing Service Department operations, collaborating with various stakeholders, and managing customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute After Sales growth strategy for mining and material handling industries
Enhance spare parts sales and aftermarket service offerings
Create opportunities for equipment retrofit, modernization, and conversions
Engage with mine sites to identify business prospects and strengthen customer connections
Expand representative and distributor networks in mining regions
Explore market share opportunities and service competitor equipment
Conduct on-site equipment inspections and provide operational recommendations
Lead various service activities at mine sites
Support customer training efforts and equipment maintenance programs
Ensure compliance with safety standards and provide feedback for equipment improvement
Support business development by identifying new projects and clients
Leadership & Business Responsibilities
Mentor and lead Service Department personnel
Drive department goals and operational improvements
Collaborate with executive leadership on growth initiatives
Foster customer relationships and support business expansion
Contribute to business development and market outreach
Required Background
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Electrical Engineering
10+ years of experience in relevant fields
Strong knowledge of equipment and maintenance practices
Experience in reading technical documentation
Previous field or mine-site experience preferred
