Location: Fayetteville, NC
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 plus bonus
Overview of the Role: As the Maintenance Supervisor for the second shift, you will be responsible for leading maintenance teams in the repair, installation, and preventive maintenance of critical equipment in various areas of our plant, facilities, utilities, and powerhouse. Your role will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations, reducing downtime, and improving production efficiency. By managing maintenance processes, you will contribute to the facility's success by maintaining product flows and production lines at optimum levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead teams of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in various maintenance activities.
- Provide training on work procedures and safety protocols to team members.
- Supervise maintenance systems and processes to ensure efficiency.
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance tasks in collaboration with production.
- Implement and optimize maintenance systems for improved performance.
- Troubleshoot and provide solutions for equipment failures.
- Monitor and report on maintenance performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain accurate records.
- Foster a positive work environment through leadership and employee development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Experience in maintenance leadership and training
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration and food manufacturing
- Strong communication and technical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Willingness to work second shift and weekends
- Additional technical skills and leadership qualities are a plus
