What you'll be doing:

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing a team, coordinating manufacturing operations using their knowledge of product functions, production methods, procedures, and machine and equipment capabilities. The Production Manager will lead their team in setting objectives and ensuring they are met, including production volumes, quality, safety, inventory, customer satisfaction, and fiscal budgets.

• Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to develop and implement operating methods and procedures to resolve operational issues and improve product quality.
• Supervise the workforce and assist in workforce planning to ensure appropriate staffing levels for productive activities (e.g., order readiness, customer specifications, speed trails, etc.).
• Work effectively with others to complete tasks and achieve common objectives, fostering enthusiasm and maintaining mutual trust, candor, and respect in interpersonal and team relationships. Handle conflicts constructively.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of control points, equipment, and resources. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company regulations and guidelines to meet customer and company quality expectations.
• Review and analyze production reports (OEE, downtime, waste, etc.) to identify causes of nonconformity with product specifications or operational/production issues.
