Position Overview:
As a Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of 1-2 high-speed packaging lines, ensuring efficient and safe production that meets our quality standards. You will lead a team of 30-40 employees, fostering a culture of engagement, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Directly supervise and manage a team of 30-40 employees on high-speed packaging lines, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements by implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other efficiency methodologies.
  • Engagement & Leadership: Foster a motivated team environment and set a clear strategic direction to achieve production goals.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and maintain production standards for efficiency, material usage, and product quality.
  • Collaboration & Safety: Collaborate closely with other managers and supervisors to ensure smooth operations, employee productivity, and compliance with safety standards.

What You Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing, preferably in the food, consumer products, chemicals, or similar industries.
  • Leadership Skills: Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role, with a strong background in leading teams and managing processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lean or Six Sigma training or certification is preferred; experience in change management is a plus.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong skills in utilizing data to coach, develop, and optimize team performance.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to multitask, solve problems, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
